Originally a lecture presented at "Cultures and Christianity A.D. 2000" International Symposium of the Association for Reformational Philosophy 21-25 August, 2000 Hoeven, Netherlands. Followed by two similar articles. The similarity is based upon contextualizing theology for different scholars and locations -- Philosophia Reformata was aimed at Dutch philosophers, while Contact aimed at a broader appeal. Gospel and Cultures: Lesslie Newbigin's Missionary Contribution, Philosophia Reformata. Volume 66 (2001), No. 2, 178-188. Scholarship at the Crossroads: Exploring Lesslie Newbigin's Missionary Model of Contextualization. Contact: The Newsletter of the International Association for the Promotion of Christian Higher Education, Volume 13, Number 1, November 2001. Academic insert, 1-8. 'Gospel and Cultures: Lesslie Newbigin's Missionary Contribution.' was reprinted in Hungarian as Az Evangélium, Kultúra és Kultúrák {Hungarian: Gospel, Culture, and Cultures; translated by László Gonda}, Lelkipásztor {Lutheran Theological Journal, Hungary}, 2001/9, pp.322-327.
